SUNDAY

Arrive at Locanda dell’Amorosa in Sinalunga. Meet the group and enjoy a gala welcoming dinner.

MONDAY

Visit Marilisa Allegrini’s San Polo estate in Montalcino, the land of Brunello, and have lunch at the winery.

Dinner will be in Montalcino.

TUESDAY

Depart for San Giovanni d’Asso where we will meet a tartufaio, who will lead us on a truffle hunt. After a successful hunt we will have a truffle based lunch followed by a visit one the top producers of the famous sheep’s milk cheese of Pienza.

For dinner, we will savor an authentic Chianina beef Florentine T-bone steak.

WEDNESDAY

Travel to Deruta in Umbria, famous for its ceramics. We will visit one the traditional manufacturers where you learn how to paint your very own plate. After we leave, your finished product will be fired and shipped to your home.

Lunch will be in the small town of Bevagna, prepared by Simone, a talented chef who regularly travels abroad to teach and prepare special dinners. After lunch, we will drive to the medieval jewel of Assisi, which you will have free time to explore on your own. Dinner will be at l’Amorosa.

THURSDAY

Visit an artisanal bakery that produces traditional Tuscan sweets and where you will get to try your hand at making Amaretti cookies. After our visit we will drive to the Tuscan coast for a seafood lunch, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

After lunch we will visit Poggio al Tesoro, Marilisa Allegrini’s winery in Bolgheri. Where we will blend our very own Super Tuscan.

FRIDAY

Check out and depart for Lari, where we will visit a family run artisanal pasta factory. After our visit we will have lunch and then proceed to visit a stylish and innovative chocolatier in the famed Tuscan “chocolate valley”. After satisfying our sweet tooth we head to Florence to check in at the Grand Hotel Cavour.

Dinner will be at l’Enoteca Pinchiorri, one of only 8 Michelin three star restaurants in Italy.
